THE FISHING
The lodge fish’s all the famous rivers, spring creeks, bocas and lakes, many with private access; also fish some of Patagonia’s best kept secret waters. To name a few places that you may recognize: Rivadavia, Frey, Futaleufu, Lago Verde, Rio Pico and many more. The real advantage that this lodge offers, is that you get a customized itinerary with a lot of variety.
The trout fishing is amazingly diverse and the lodge will personalize your fishing itinerary to the kind of fishing you enjoy. You can fish big rivers and small, wading or floating, spring creeks, bocas and lakes for browns, rainbows and brook trout. The waters do not get the heavy pounding that other regions get. Dry fly or wet, nymphs, attractors, hoppers and streamer fishing are all available. The waters hold many fish per mile including trophies.

GETTING THERE
Clients will fly into Buenos Aires and transfer to the domestic flight to Esquel, Argentina. Most major airlines fly to Buenos Aires ( EZE ) along with the domestic carriers Aerolineas Argentinas and LAN. Direct flights from NYC, DC, Atlanta, Miami and Houston are some of the popular routes. Aerolineas is the only provider that flyes to Esquel but BARILOCHE BRC can be an alternative for arrival and departure (3,5 hour’s drive to Esquel). Once arrived in Esquel, a staff member will be waiting for you for your ground transfer to the Le Fario Lodge.

Le Fario Lodge is a four bedroom building situated on a private property with a large coast of Laguna Larga, which gives the chance of great fishing while walking right out of the room. There is 24-hour power (nature friendly) and WI FI.
Heavily influenced by many European settlers, the food is outstanding from the world famous beef and lamb, fresh pasta, vegetables and fruits along with local specialties. Argentines demand excellent food at all levels.

American, Canadian, British, EU and Australian guests will need a valid passport and return plane ticket to enter Argentina. Visas for these nationalities are not required.
