With it now being mid-April, tarpon season is in full swing throughout the Keys and the Caribbean. I’m heading down to Cuba for two weeks of tarpon fishing the last two weeks of May, fishing the south coast for a week and then moving up to the north coast for my last week. I love tarpon season and am quite literally counting down the days until my trip starts. The visual side of fly fishing for tarpon is tough to beat and the jaw dropping aerial display and power of the Silver Kings has me antsy with anticipation.
